i'd just like 2 say that the last topic had no relevence to the wonderful rai music and was just a political statement on a (hopefully)non-political site. What was the point?
I'd also like to say im very very excited- Khaled is in london in 2 days and im going!!!!!

I am a resident of Dearborn, Michigan where we have many Arabic residents and so I was lucky enough to get introduced to the wonderful world of Rai music. Salam,
nice Homepage, I really enjoy it.
I listen to Rai since im 15 years old and I still do.
The first time I fall in love with Rai was the time when I listen to the Song Aicha. A Friend brought me this Cassette from Algeria. Month after month I was waiting till the Album Sahra was puplished in Germany.
Im also very sad about the fact, that there is no chance to talk about Rai!

| Rai music is so good that i couldnt stop listening to it. i like most of the songs, especially the song Aiysha, in which Cheb Khaled sings about the queen of sheba (yemen, back in history). People in my country think i'm crazy, because of the dialct difference between yemen and algeria. It's like a different language to them . As for me, thanks to the music and some of my algerian and mauritanian friends who tough me so.

Hello Raï-Fans, especially Ann!
This evening I was searching for a long time to find any tour dates of any Raï-artists and now, some hours later, I got them on your site! I listen to Raï-music for quite some years now and was very happy to meet you as another Raï-fan on your site! I Love Rai! But living in the states makes finding concerts difficult... I will be coming to Europe indefinitely, and was wondering if anyone knew of upcoming concerts or tour dates-specifically for Cheb Khaled or Cheb Mami...
