:: FAUDEL BIOGRAPHY ::
The Algerian, born on June 6th 1978 in Paris, represents the young generation of Raļ.
At first he played around youth clubs, singing cover versions of the songs from Khaled. A short time
later he was allowed to play as the supporting act of his idol.
Known as the little Prince of Raļ, Faudel made his first album "Baida" at the age of 18. The Raļ-sound
he has created with differnt Oriental rhythms also incorporates Afro-Beat, Flamenco-influences as well as elements
of Reggae and Rock.
In 1998 (september the 26th) he stood on the stage of the Parisian Olympia during the legendary
concert "1,2,3 soleils" (check out the Cd and DVD!) alongside the Raļ-king Khaled and Rachid Taha as an artist
in his own right.
With the great success of this concert hereached his international break-through.
In 2001 he recorded his second album "Samra".
