* special thanx to: the Boukakes and Fab * Somehow it was not a really good concert. Pascal had problems with the drums during the gig. And I missed Steff, the talented and very sympathic guy who always played the first keyboards. You left a big space this evening! 
04.08.2007 * Les Boukakes in Krefeld
* special thanx to: the Boukakes (vous etes fantastiques!) et Björn * My way to Krefeld and back home was a 30 hours trip :-) ... the festival was nice; before and after the Boukakes there were some other good bands playing. The concert of the Boukakes was great! I enjoyed it alot and I was dancing and taking photos and singing .. like always. I think the people there loved it too! And I met Björn (DJ Ya Rayah) I only knew from Myspace before. Fortunately there was an Aftershow-Party in a club; it was not the best music, but it kept me from waiting at the station the whole night and I spent quite a good time there. Top of the page 
12.07.2007 * Les Boukakes in Arles
* special thanx to: the great Boukakes * Wow, for this concert I had to wait more than 8 months. The first act this evening was Abd El Malik who seems to be an arising star in France. I liked his words and his message, but the music was too jazzy for me. At 23.30 the Boukakes entered the stage with their new member Kais Melitti, who plays keyboard, ... I always loved the "Seur Feur"-Intro and unfortunately they have now another one. But the concert was great, although they all have been very tired after a successful Canada-Tour. They played 3-4 new songs; I especially liked "Oumi". It's been a really great evening! I am waiting to see them in 3 weeks back in Germany.
